What is a US DSCSA drug trace QR code?
A US pharmaceutical trace code identifies one saleable unit of one drug lot as it moves through the supply chain, from manufacturer to pharmacy.

Drug manufacturers assign the identifier when they package a product, following requirements set out by the FDA.
The standard behind it
The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requires this trace data, built on GS1's Serialized Global Trade Item Number (SGTIN) format, so every unit sold in the US can be traced back to its lot and manufacturer.
Why you can't generate this here
The identifier is minted and assigned by an issuing authority or registry (a tax authority, health ministry, or goods-serialization registry). It can be checked, not manufactured by a third-party tool.

Can I make a US DSCSA drug trace QR code with a generator?
