Everything runs in your browser. Your QR content, vCards, WiFi passwords, batch CSVs, scanned images — none of it is uploaded. Open your browser's DevTools Network tab and use the tool; you'll see zero outbound requests while you generate. The homepage shows live browser-computed counts: outbound requests since page load, third-party domains, cookies, localStorage keys. Verify it yourself — don't trust us.
Permanent
The link to your destination lives inside the QR code itself, not on our server. A static QR works forever, even if Abundera shuts down tomorrow. This is the architectural difference from every paid "dynamic QR" vendor: they put their redirect server in the middle, we don't. Printed QR codes you generate here cannot be turned off by us, because there's nothing for us to turn off.
Verifiable
QR Lab grades any QR image for scannability, decodes the payload, checks the quiet zone, and reports per-scanner verdicts — before you print. Print Size Calculator gives you the minimum size for any scan distance, substrate, and light condition. Scanner Compatibility Matrix names the exact devices tested (iPhone Camera, Pixel 9 Google Lens, Honeywell Xenon Ultra, Zebra DS9908, regional banking apps) and when each format fails. Scanner test corpus is downloadable and reproducible.
Print-safe
The ISO/IEC 18004 standard sets minimum module size, quiet zone, and contrast for a QR to decode reliably. Most free generators ignore all three. We enforce them. Warnings fire on sensitive types before you print (TOTP, eSIM, AAMVA, passkey, payment QRs, health cards, Digital Product Passports). The Business Card Designer exports print-ready PDFs at 600 DPI with bleed and safe-zone. If it will scan, we say so. If it won't, we say so.
No lock-in
Static QR codes created here cannot be locked. There's no server in the middle.
